DMS PTO Newsletter for 10/20/18 
Thank you to everyone who attended the DMS PTO meeting this week!
DMS PTO Student Social
The DMS PTO is organizing the Fall Student Social!
Friday, October 26th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM

TICKETS (only $5) must be purchased in advance!
Available during school store hours 10/15 - 19, plus 10/23 & 10/25
No tickets will be sold at the door.
We need parent chaperones!

Details:  $5 ticket will include 2 slices pizza, 2 Turner beverages, 1 ice cream. The event features DJ/music, games (pingpong, corn hole, giant jenga), and a photobooth.  Can't beat the price for 2 hours of fun with friends!!!  Dress code is fall casual – school appropriate costumes welcome!

Staff Appreciation Luncheon
On Monday, November 5th, the PTO is hosting a Staff Appreciation Lunch! We are kindly requesting monetary donations to help with the luncheon and raffle gifts!
Any amount is appreciated!!

Cash and check donations (made payable to DMS PTO) may be sent into school with your child in a ‘PTO Staff Appreciation’ labeled and sealed envelope and given to the front office.

Turkey Trot Fun Run/Walk
Student Council Fundraiser
It was a gorgeous day Friday for the Turkey Trot!  Thank you so much to parents for helping with the cookie social!
The Annual Turkey Trot, a student council-led community service project that raises money for holiday food for families in need here at DMS, was held on Friday, October 19th. The students solicited sponsors to participate in a fun run/walk on the DMS track.
