Basket Raffle, PTO Fall Fundraiser

Please help us create a successful fundraiser.

This week is our final week for basket raffle collection! Thank you so much to everyone who has already brought in donations, but we would love to have more items.

Students should bring donations to any one of their team teachers. Please have students bring in items according to the theme, which is assigned by grade and team and is listed below. If you would like to make a monetary donation instead, the check can be made out to the DMS PTO, and we will use the money to supplement the donations as needed. This check can also be given a team teacher.

DMS Fall Festival

Time for a party! (link to a flyer, here.)

On Friday, November 4, from 6:00-8:30 PM, a fun fall festival will be held in the DMS gym and cafeteria and is open to all DMS middle school students. Activities and amenities will include pizza, an ice cream bar, a photo booth, and a DJ and dancing.

How to get in:

Tickets will be sold for $1.00 each at the School Store (during lunch) starting Monday, October 30. Tickets will also be sold at the door, but it is helpful if tickets are bought ahead of time so the organizers know approximately how many guests to expect. It is also asked that attendees bring a donation for the Sharpsburg food pantry of any of the following: paper towels, facial tissues, toilet paper, napkins, diapers, canned fruit, spaghetti sauce, or cans of soup.

Dress Code:

Students are encouraged to wear jeans, flannels, and/ or plaid to be consistent with the Fall Harvest theme, but that is not required. School dress code rules are in effect. Please leave backpacks, purses, bags, etc. at home.

Leaving:

Please pick up students promptly at 8:30. If students go home with someone other than a parent, they should bring a note signed by their parent.

Want to Help?

Parents with clearances are needed to sell tickets, bring donations, and chaperone. Please use this link to a "Sign Up Genius" to sign up.
